A programme of schools, community and public engagement to mark the bicentenary of David Livingstone’s birth, whilst exploring his contemporary legacy and strengthening the continued relationship between Scotland and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme involved visits and exchanges with delegates from Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Tanzania as part of the bicentenary programme and 2014 Commonwealth Games.
